LEGAL NOTICE
The Versailles Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday, December 9, 2024 to review a setback variance request and hear an appeal to a Notice of Violation regarding an accessory building on a vacant residential lot. The setback variance request application (BZA Case No. 24-08) has been filed by Chris and Caleshya Minnich, 327 Jackson St. to construct an addition onto their existing home. The proposed addition would be constructed eight (8’) feet from the front property/right-of-way line of Jackson St., where Versailles Zoning Regulations require a 25-foot setback. This property is zoned R-2 Single-Family Residential. The appeal for a Notice of Violation regarding an accessory building on a vacant residential lot (BZA Case No. 24-07) has been filed by Terry Barga, 247 Greenlawn Ave. who has placed an accessory building on a vacant lot located at the southeast corner of Oak St. and Chestnut St. on Darke Council Parcel No. T76241018030215100. This property is zoned R-2 Single-Family Residential.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm in the Versailles Fire/EMS Station Conference Room, 320 Baker Road, Versailles, Ohio. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
