VILLAGE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR STREET AND UTILITY SEASONAL
POSITIONS

The Village of Versailles will be accepting applications for the purpose of seeking
candidates to fill temporary seasonal employment positions within the Street and Utility
Departments. The candidate will be responsible for lawn mowing, painting, various
sanitation duties, and other assigned general labor tasks. Candidates must be at a
minimum 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. These positions start at $11.82/hour
and are 40 hours per week. Pay will be commensurate on experience and qualifications.
These positions will not be eligible to receive any benefits.

Swimming Pool Lifeguard Position

VILLAGE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR SWIMMING POOL LIFEGUARD
POSITIONS

The Village of Versailles is accepting applications for the purpose of seeking qualified
candidates to fill seasonal summer lifeguard positions at the Versailles Ward Park
Swimming Pool. Candidates must possess lifeguard certification, first aid training, and
CPR certification. The starting pay is $11.02 per hour. Pay will be commensurate on
experience and qualifications. Lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR
certification reimbursement is available to those candidates selected for employment by
the Village.

Assistant Pool Manager Position

VILLAGE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT SWIMMING POOL
MANAGER

The Village of Versailles is accepting applications for the purpose of seeking qualified
candidates to fill a seasonal Assistant Swimming Pool Manager position for the Versailles
Ward Park Swimming Pool. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or
generation education degree (GED); have two years of training and/or experience in pool
management, lifeguarding, or supervision supplemented by coursework in chemistry with
knowledge of basic chemistry’ CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred. Under administrative
direction, assists the Pool Manager in managing the operation of the Village pool and
directly, or indirectly, supervises all pool employees; ensures the proper maintenance of
water chemistry and property operation of water filtration system. The pay range for this
position is $13.50-$16.87 per hour. Pay will be commensurate on experience and
qualifications. Lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification
reimbursement is available to those candidates selected for employment by the Village.
