ELECTRIC LINEMAN I OR II

The Village of Versailles, Ohio is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electric Lineman I or II.  The candidate will be responsible for delivering reliable electric service to customers by performing inspections, maintenance, operations on substation, distribution, and street light systems corresponding with their level of training.  The candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s License, and be able to obtain a Class A CDL endorsement within six (6) months of employment.  Prior electrical lineman training and/or lineman trade experience is required.  The hourly compensation for this position shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The Village offers an excellent benefit and retirement program.

EMT/Paramedic

The Village of Versailles is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of EMT/Paramedic.  This is a full-time employment position.  The candidate(s) will provide the role of responding to emergencies, assess injuries, provide emergency medical treatment as per level of training, operate emergency medical equipment, transport injured or sick persons to medical facilities, daily station duties and assist department with community events and public education.

The candidate(s) shall have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s License and must possess current EMT-Paramedic Certification (preferred, not required), with ACLS and CPR Certifications. The hourly compensation for this position shall BE commensurate with certification level Basic, Intermediate or Paramedic Certification. EMT Basic or Intermediate Levels are encouraged to apply for an opportunity for further training certification through partnership with the Village of Versailles.  The Village offers an excellent benefit and public-employee retirement program.
