Utilities Account Clerk

The Village of Versailles, Ohio is seeking qualified, professional candidates for the position of
Utilities Account Clerk. The person appointed will report to the Village Administrator and will
perform general clerical accounting functions, utility billing, customer service, and administrative
assistant duties, while responding to inquiries from and assisting the general public. The
candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s License and must
meet the requirements to be bonded. Bookkeeping skills, computer spreadsheet knowledge,
and the willingness to learn and utilize different software programs is expected.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. The Village offers an excellent benefits package
including the Ohio Public Retirement System (OPERS) retirement program, vacation time,
personal time, and sick time. Versailles offers a competitive hourly rate of compensation with
the beginning hourly compensation to be determined by qualifications and experience. The
Village of Versailles maintains a Grade/Step Hourly Compensation Program and offers an
excellent benefits and retirement program.

LIFEGUARD SEASONAL POSITIONS

Lifeguard Positions

The Village of Versailles is accepting applications for the purpose of seeking qualified candidates to fill seasonal summer lifeguard positions at the Versailles Ward Park Swimming Pool. Candidates must possess lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR certification. The starting pay is $11.41 –14.90 per hour. Pay will be commensurate on experience and qualifications. Lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR certification reimbursement is available to those candidates selected for employment by the Village.
