The Village of Versailles, Ohio is seeking qualified, professional candidates for the position of Water and Wastewater Plant Operator. The person appointed will report to the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager and will operate and monitor water and sewer treatment plants under direction of Plant Manager. The candidate will have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a valid Ohio Driver’s License. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class B endorsement must be acquired by the end of a (6) six-month probationary period.  An Ohio EPA Water Supply Class I license is required. Any higher license level and or Ohio EPA Wastewater license will increase the compensation range for the position. Five years’ experience which evidences a comprehensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant operations is preferred. The hourly compensation range for the Water Supply Class I license position is $23.29-$29.9. and the hourly compensation range for the Water Supply Class II license position is $27.76-$35.48 with the beginning hourly rate of compensation to be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
