The Versailles Police Department, located in Southwest Ohio, is currently comprised of 6 full-time and 3 part-time officers. We provide 24 hour a day coverage to a community of approximately 2,600 residents.

Our schedule is constructed in such a way as to provide a sufficient number of officers when they are needed. These times are during the day, when our population increases greatly due to several large companies and our school. Other times include evenings and weekends, when the activity in our downtown area increases.

Our police department is located at the corner of Main and Center Streets in downtown Versailles. Officers can be contacted during business hours for questions, copies of reports, etc. by visiting the police department or calling (937) 526-3712. The fax number is (937) 526-5622. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you need to speak with an officer about a non-emergency problem, please call the Darke County Communications Center at (937) 548-2020.
