Under governmental aggregation, the Village of Versailles acts on behalf of natural gas consumers in the Village to negotiate a gas supply contract with eligible suppliers. Both the Village of Versailles and the energy supplier must be certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The Village of Versailles voters approved the implementation of the program and Village Council Members approved Ordinance No. 03-02 on January 28, 2003. The Village has selected IGS Energy of Dublin, Ohio as the new supplier for natural gas for participants in its Natural Gas Aggregation Program

The price under the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program is $0.757 per CCF through the your September 2023 billing period. Versailles residents will be automatically enrolled in the Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program unless they choose to "opt-out"- that is, to not participate. There is no charge to sign up for the aggregation program and no charge to cancel.

If you wish to discontinue your involvement in the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program, you may contact IGS Energy at 1-877-353-0162, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For general information on natural gas deregulation in Ohio you can visit the Web Sites of the Ohio Consumer’ Counsel (www.occ.org) or the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (www.PUCO.ohio.gov).
