Under governmental aggregation, the Village of Versailles acts on behalf of natural gas consumers in the Village to negotiate a gas supply contract with eligible suppliers. Both the Village of Versailles and AEP Energy must be certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The Village of Versailles voters approved the implementation of the program and Village Council Members approved Ordinance No. 03-02 on January 28, 2003. The aggregation program for the Village of Versailles with AEP Energy begins with the September 2020 Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Vectren) billing period and ends with the August 2022 billing period.
The price under the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program is $0.344 per CCF through the Vectren August 2020 billing period. This fixed rate of $0.344 per CCF is lower than any other 12 month fixed rate with no cancellation fee available in the marketplace according to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio “Apples to Apples” rate comparison sheet of competitive suppliers. There is no charge to sign up and no charge to cancel.
If you wish to discontinue your involvement in the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program, you may contact AEP Energy at 1-877-726-0214 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m & Saturday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. EST.
