The Versailles Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled to hold public hearings on Monday, August 2, 2021 to review and consider four applications for variance.

The first variance application to be considered was filed the Hotel Versailles, 21 West Main Street to allow for on-premise signage which exceeds the maximum limitations for signage for a single business.

The second variance application to be considered was filed by Marc and Karla Dieringer, 318 S. Second Street, for a reduction in the north side yard setback to construct a 22-foot x 22-foot attached carport 8-inches from the north property line where Versailles Zoning Regulations require a 5-foot setback.  

The third variance application to be considered was filed by Michael Shimp, 642 Hickey Avenue for the reduction in the required front yard setback to construct a 32-foot X 28 foot accessory garage addition 18 feet from the front (south) property line where Versailles Zoning Regulations require a 30-foot front yard setback on all structures.

The fourth variance application to be considered was filed by Jerome and Mandy Lefeld, 108 Moore Parkway for a reduction in front yard setback to install a 5 foot tall pool fence within the required front yard setback where Versailles Zoning Regulations limit the height of a front yard fence to 36 inches.

The public hearings are scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm in the Versailles Emergency Services Building Conference Room, 320 Baker Road, Versailles, Ohio. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
