PART-TIME POSITION OPENING
EMT-BASIC, EMT-INTERMEDIATE, EMT/PARAMEDIC
The Village of Versailles is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of EMT-Basic, EMTIntermediate,
or EMT/Paramedic. This is a part-time employment position. The candidate(s) will
provide the role of responding to emergencies, assess injuries, provide emergency medical
treatment as per level of training, operate emergency medical equipment, transport injured or
sick persons to medical facilities, daily station duties and assist department with community
events and public education.
The candidate(s) shall have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s License and
must possess current EMT, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic Certification, with ACLS and
CPR Certifications. The hourly compensation for this position shall be commensurate with
certification level Basic, Intermediate or Paramedic Certification. EMT Basic or Intermediate
Levels are encouraged to apply for an opportunity for further training certification in partnership
with the Village of Versailles. The hourly compensation for this position shall be commensurate
with qualifications and experience. Part-time employees of the Village are eligible and enrolled
in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS).
