ELECTRIC LINEMAN I OR II

The Village of Versailles is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electric Lineman I or II. The candidate will be responsible for delivering reliable electric service to customers by performing inspections, maintenance, operations on substation, distribution, and street light systems corresponding with their level of training. The candidate shall have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s License, and be able to obtain a Class A CDL endorsement within six (6) months of employment. Prior electrical lineman training and/or lineman trade experience is required. The candidate shall also understand, or have the willingness to learn, how to operate equipment including but not limited to: bucket truck, digger derrick, backhoe, trencher, wood chipper, chain saw, and dump truck; with a willingness to follow all current and future safety practices while maintaining equipment. The hourly compensation for this position shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The hourly range for compensation for Lineman I is $28.30-$37.00/HR, and Lineman II is $40.10-$47.00/HR. LIFEGUARD SEASONAL POSITIONS

Lifeguard Positions

The Village of Versailles is accepting applications for the purpose of seeking qualified candidates to fill seasonal summer lifeguard positions at the Versailles Ward Park Swimming Pool. Candidates must possess lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR certification. The starting pay is $11.41 –14.90 per hour. Pay will be commensurate on experience and qualifications. Lifeguard certification, first aid training, and CPR certification reimbursement is available to those candidates selected for employment by the Village.

STREET & UTILITY SEASONAL POSITIONS

Street & Utility Seasonal Positions

The Village of Versailles will be accepting applications for the purpose of seeking candidates to fill temporary seasonal employment positions within the Street and Utility Departments. The candidate will be responsible for lawn mowing, painting, various sanitation duties, and other assigned general labor tasks. Candidates must be at a minimum 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. These positions start at $12.23-$15.72 hour and are 40 hours per week. Pay will be commensurate on experience and qualifications. These positions will not be eligible to receive any benefits.
