Versailles is a public power community, and one which APPA (American Public Power Association) has recognized as an RP-3 (reliable, public power provider) community. By having our own electric distribution system, customers need only call our village offices to obtain an immediate response to any electrical utility issue that may arise. Public power, together with our other local utilities, provide hometown services at reasonable rates.
